Production Linked Incentive (PLI) Scheme for Textiles

The government has approved the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) Scheme for the promotion of MMF (Man-Made Fibre) apparel, MMF fabrics, and technical textile products. This scheme will be effective from the date of this notification. With a budgetary outlay of ₹10,683 crore, incentives under the scheme will be available for a period of five years — from FY 2025-26 to FY 2029-30 — based on the incremental turnover achieved during the period from FY 2024-25 to FY 2028-29.

However, if a company is able to achieve the investment and production targets a year in advance, it will become eligible a year earlier — i.e., for the five-year period from FY 2024-25 to FY 2028-29.
